The Thoroughbred is a horse breed known for its speed and is used world wide in horse racing. Thoroughbred Racing is sometimes referred to as the 'Sport of Kings'. Thoroughbred horses are considered to be highly strung, and spirited.
Height: 15.2 to 17hh.
Colours: Commonly bay, brown, chestnut, black, or gray. Less common colours include, palomino, roan and buckskin. However some colours are not yet recognised by main registries eg pinto.
